As believers, we most likely have those verses or passages that have impacted us in profound ways. You might even have a "life verse." If so, let us know, and why it's so impactful to you.
Like you, I have several, but one I will share is 2 Timothy 1:7. As a child all the way through my young adult life I faced many difficult situations. At 21 years old I lay in a hospital room facing the real possibility of entering eternity, and God kept bringing this verse to mind. I held on to it, and it became a life verse for me. Because I knew that God was with me and that the Spirit He filled me with was not one of fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of Power, and of Love and of a Sound Mind."
The verse that had the biggest impact on me was the one that lead me to a true relationship with Jesus Christ. That is Matthew 7:21-23 and the realization Christ was speaking to people who thought they were saved. You see when I was young I did pray the sinners prayer, I did believe in the word of GOD. But I put my faith in the good person gospel, not Jesus Christ's finished work on the cross. In short I bought a bus ticket and didn't even know it was the wrong one. It wasn't until I completely failed morally, and in my darkest hour I understood about a relationship with HIM trusting in HIS grace by faith Eph. 2:8-9, Rom. 10:9. I had nothing left, family, friends, reputation, money, property, ability and promise was all gone. All I could do is cry out to HIM. And that's when HE saved me when all I could do is trust in HIM, that my relationship with Jesus started for real. Relationship not Religion.
